I'd like to introduce you to:
Star Bright
[A Layer Cake pattern].
The fabric I used is Wee Woodland by Keiki for Moda.
The quilt was quilted by Kayleen Parry in Lehi, Utah.
The rick rack and stars are optional.
Or, you could even add more stars. It's up to you!
This scrappy quilt will brighten up any room in your home ~ I promise!
So what do you think of it???
So what do you think of it???
So, I'm not sure if you know this about me yet,
but I like to give away my new patterns (with fabric) when I can.
['Cause who doesn't like that kind of stuff?!?]
Well, remember when I did my giveaway for "One, Two, Buckle My Shoe" a few months ago? Many of you mentioned that you would like to make that pattern out of the fabric line, "Pure". So. I talked with the ladies over at Sweetwater after that and they offered to donate
a "Pure" Layer Cake [aren't they so sweet!?!]
So I am giving away:
a "Pure" Layer Cake
and Star Bright
And, I also decided to do "FREE SHIPPING" [on all regularly priced items] in my etsy shop from now until December 31st!
So happy holidays to you from me!

The giveaway ends this weekend. I'm not giving a specific day and time because it seems I'm always a day or two late on announcing the winner. You'll just have to check back! :) Good luck!
I love peppermint bark! ha ha, that's something I love in the food department, but mostly I just love the family time at the holidays - it's the most precious thing ever.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
My favorite thing we do for Christmas is getting new PJs on Christmas Eve, drinking hot chocolate, and waiting for Santa!
ReplyDeletePlaying games and doing puzzles - two of my favorite family things to do. Staying warm and cozy in the house :)
ReplyDeleteI love watching everyone open their presents. We all take turns. Than we have a huge breakfast.
ReplyDeleteOh wow what a great pattern. And the fabric is gorgeous. I think my favorite part about the holidays is family. I did not have family gatherings growing up, so marrying a guy from a big family has been a real blessing. Thanks for such a wonderful giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThe thing I love most about Christmas is waking up and listening to my beautiful children going through their stockings..
ReplyDeleteWell all of my family live across an ocean,or an ocean plus continent, so my husband & I always go to a movie on Christmas Day. There is usually a good one out that daay & it's never crowded!
ReplyDeleteI've been so tempted to buy a Pure layer cake-so I'd love to win one
Having my two boys at my house at the same time. My youngest travels doing electrical work and is very rarely home so having both at once is a treat.
ReplyDeleteAnother hit pattern!! I like the fabrics you used on this one - bright and happy :) Mmmmm, favorite thing about the holidays? For New Year's every year, we rent a hotel room with our 4 kids and have a party - with LOTS of confetti! I usually feel guilty about leaving such a mess - but we leave a big tip to help the caretakers not get so mad at us! We bring in all sorts of goodies and games and really party - it's been such a memory maker - plus it's been a good way to show the kids you don't need to drink alcohol to have a good time. We do get a little crazy though ;) All in good fun!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! Love the new pattern.
ReplyDeleteI love staying HOME for Christmas and enjoying family time and having a WHITE Christmas.
I am a follower of your blog.
THANKS!
I love Christmas music. And the smell of a Christmas tree. I love that when I vacuum for months after Christmas, I get to smell the tree all over again. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery, very cute pattern, and I love the fabric! My favorite part of the holidays is that I allow myself to indulge in goodies, yummmmmmmm! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteLove the pattern! This Xmas I'm loving the enthusiasm of my 5 year old. Every time she sees a lit house, she shrieks in delight. Very contagious.
ReplyDeleteOoh, yes, I really, REALLY like this quilt. The colors are so rich and bright, and the pattern is terrific with the crosses in the sashing, and a star every now and again !
ReplyDeleteFabulous design.
What I love about the holidays is the spontaneous generosity you run into everywhere......sortof like this giveaway !
Ooh, I want to win the pattern and the fabric to make it just like it is ! Sorry, didn't mean to sound greedy, just convinced !
I love cozying up on the couch with my kids to read a Christmas bedtime story...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I love your new pattern! Since I finished decorating today...I can say I love being finished with decorating during the holidays...it seems like I can really enjoy them after that!
ReplyDeleteLovely giveaway! I like the smell of the Christmas tree, and Christmas music. I know that's two, but I couldn't decide. I'm a follower but I can't remember if it's via Reader or the Google Friend Connect thingy.
ReplyDeleteI love the white lights of Christmas, Christmas carols and being with family.
ReplyDeleteI love getting my family together. We always have something chocolate (which I love) and talking about what we've been up to the past year.
ReplyDeleteI love driving around to see all the houses lit up!
ReplyDeleteI grew up in the southern hemisphere, so never understood the loveliness of a cold Christmas until I lived in the US. It all is just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteFabulous quilt! The quilting is amazing. I love how it's made of a layer cake and shows off the prints really well. My favorite thing about the holidays is the christmas music! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower (psychdog) and I love all the fun Christmas goodies we make at this time of year. I have a great recipe for fudge that uses symphony bars and marshmallow cream. Yum!
ReplyDelete-Jody
I have been a follower for some time. My favorite part of the holidays is sitting back watching people opening gifts. No matter what the age, the expressions are always the same.
ReplyDeleteI love to decorate my Christmas Tree! I decorate my tree in Red, White and Blue. I've done so since 9/11 and will continue to do so. It looks BEAUTIFUL! DH and I are veterans, so it makes my heart feel good, and makes me think of all of the service members who are not at home this time of year.
ReplyDeletewe have a silly family talent show after church on Christmas eve! it is so funny because we are not vey talented!!
ReplyDeletestockings, christmas lights, the music, wrapping gifts with my girlfriends, and most of all having my family home for christmas. The pattern looks like a fun one!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new pattern! It's cute!
ReplyDeleteI love all the family activities associated with the holidays. A holiday meal, spending time together, opening presents, and sometimes a movie and a nap!
I love it when my kids ask for more special Christmas cookies!!I love being able to stay in the house for days when all the shopping is done. Great pattern! Following all the time
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower and I love Christmas! The music, the generosity, the children's faces, it's magical to me, "I wish Christmas would last the whole year long!"
ReplyDeleteJo Ann
My favorite thing about Christmas is my son's advent calendar! Love the new pattern.
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas because most of my family is home. Since they are scattered all over its hard to get together.
ReplyDeleteYour new pattern is very pretty. Thanks for having a giveaway. I am a follower
My favorite thing is singing Christmas music! I was in a singing group in high school that performed all month long for parties and stuff. Now I am doing parties with my Mom and sisters! It's so fun!
ReplyDeleteI love just about everything about Christmas but especially the time spent with family and friends! Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing to do is stay in our jammies all day and relax in each others company :)
ReplyDeleteSheilaC
Very nice!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favourite things to do during the holidays is baking. Every year, my husband and I make meat pies, which we don't eat until after mass on Christmas Eve. We also make mince tarts, cookies and gingerbread men. Yum!
I have a large family - five sisters and three brothers - and every year one of us (in age order) hosts the Christmas get together. It is all pot luck and last year there were 85 people. My first granddaughter born this year is the 31st great-grandchild. It's a blast to see everyone together!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing in the holiday is my kiddos. There have been a lot of lean Christmases around here and my kiddos have hung in with me.
This year, we're all in a festive mood, so it's been fun.
I love decorating for Christmas - the mantle, the lights outside, the tree, putting out the special collections that I only see once a year. What a wonderful season to share with family and friends!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this pattern. I can think of ten fabric lines that it would be cute in. My favorite holiday tradition is my "cousins" get together. My Dad's entire family gets together at my uncle's house on Christmas Eve for dinner and gift exchange. I only see some of my cousins a few times a year, so it is a really great time to catch up with everybody.
ReplyDeleteI love your fabric and that pattern - it looks like it would be fun to do. I am a follower for sure! A fun think about the holidays - watching my grandchildren playing together in my sunroom. Grandchildren put a whole new light on Christmas - their faces when they see the baby in the manger, when they sing Christmas carols, when you light the Advent candle - it almost takes my breath. blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteThe baking, definitely! I love bringing out the once a year recipes that were handed down from my Mom. My hubby is a fruitcake lover and I have to hide a couple of cakes or they'd be all gone before the holidays arrive.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance to win.
Carolyn
The pattern is cute and I like the Wee Woodland fabrics. I look forward to the holidays because everyone in the family tries to come if at all possible.
ReplyDeleteFun! I love Christmas fabric, even though a lot of it shows up in shops in July! It's fun pulling out the quilts that have been buried in the closet since last year.
ReplyDeleteHi I am a follower and really love your designs. One of the fun and favorite things about the holidays for me is being with my family and friends and giving.
ReplyDeleteI love that we will be going to FL to see 3 of our children and also 3 grandchildren. What could be better?
ReplyDeleteI blogged about your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThe think I love about christmas is...
ReplyDeleteNo School!!!
yay! I can't wait...
I love so many things about the holidays, but my most favorite thing is just enjoying my children. I love to see that spark of excitement and happiness that is only present in a child at christmastime. I love your patterns, you are very talented. Thanks for the opportunity to win a great prize.
ReplyDelete:)
I love getting together with my extended family of about 30 people on Christmas Eve, eating, laughing and just hanging out.
ReplyDeleteI love getting the whole family together and watching the kids open presents! Thanks for the chance to win! I am now a follower!
ReplyDeleteSince I live so far from my family, getting to see them over the holidays is the best part. We drive the 500 miles looking forward to a week of fun. As long as the snow can hold off for us....
ReplyDeleteI am a follower. Wonderful pattern, love the fabric. I so enjoy looking at all the Christmas lights. Take the dogs out for an extra walk at night just to see all the beautiful displays. Happy Holidays to you too, and thank you for the giveaway.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
jldouglas@wispwest.net
Love the new pattern. It looks so wonderfully scrappy.
ReplyDeleteAmber, Another delightful pattern. I love the bright cheerful fabrics you used in this quilt. A wonderful giveaway, thanks for a chance at some of your great patterns and some (woo hoo) fabric. Always fun to get quilting treasures, don't you think? On the Holidays, especially Christmas Eve, we always watch "A Christmas Carol", the old black and white version if I can find it on...if not, then we have the George C. Scott version which is also great. Then on Christmas day, we love to watch home movies of 'Christmases Past'. So much fun to see the grandson's now 22 and 17 that we raised back when they were just cute funny toddlers. Then of course there are the loved ones that have "gone Home" in the movies and we enjoy telling fun stories about our Christmas times as children. Just a very fond look back at people we love so much and great family times shared with them. Thanks again for the giveaway opportunity and Good Luck to Everyone!
ReplyDeleteI Just blogged about your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThe new pattern is great. I love the stars in it. One thing that I am looking forward to over the holidays is visiting with family. We play games, do crafts with the little ones and eat everyone's best recipes. I am a follower.
ReplyDeleteI am a follower! Just found your blog and really love your patterns. :) Thanks for offering this give away!
ReplyDeleteFirst, I am a follower! Thanks for the giveaway. I don't know if it's considered 'fun', but every time I turn on the tree's lights, I sing "oh, christmas tree, oh christmas tree". Just those words. Weird. The other thing that is funny is that at 25 and 21, my kids still won't let me put presents out before Christmas Eve. As my son says, "Santy comes at night while we're sleeping." So my kids are still "little" and I am up at 5am putting presents under the tree!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower and love your blog! I think what I love most about Christmas is giving to others (although I do that throughout the year) the items I've made specifically for them. Just everyone being together at Christmas time.
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower! My favorite part of the holidays is watching the homemade froot loop garlands on the tree slowly get shorter and shorter as the kids sneak nibbles.
ReplyDelete:)
I blogged about it! http://sewchaos.blogspot.com/2010/12/giveaways.html
ReplyDeleteI love following your blog.
ReplyDeleteI love the holidays for the family time and the great food.
Thanks for a fun give away.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't be prouder to call you friend. You are so talented and famous to boot! Way to rock your dream.
Anyway, miss you and love you. Also, I'll enter your giveaway b/c you are just that fabulous.
I like lights. Lots of lights on houses and trees, like lots. It doesn't take much to make me happy.
I'm planning to make a mug rug for Santa! Got it from Jodi at Pleasant Home! Thanks for the chance to win this great stuff!
ReplyDeleteI love everything about the holidays! The reason for the season, baking & cooking, eating those once-a-year recipes, Christmas Eve services, children's faces on Christmas morn and being with loved ones! Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!
ReplyDeleteI love staying up late on Christmas Eve watching It's A Wonderful Life with hubby!
ReplyDeleteI've wished of this line of fabric - can't think of a better reason to have some than making a star quilt....Merry CHristmas.
ReplyDeleteNow that I have grandkids, everything about the holidays is fun. They make me look at it with new eyes.
ReplyDeleteI finish my Christmas shopping early so that when all the crazy sales start happening, I get to shop for me ("oh, but how can I resist at this price?" "I almost need a new one" "I can't be overdrawn I still have checks left" are some of the catch phrases you'll hear from me in December!!)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you. Fun blog to follow!!
ReplyDeleteHoliday traditions in the family include a way fun cookie baking and exchange. Always tons of laughs!
I love your blog! That said, let me tell you about a tradition we have in our family around the holidays. Each night we read from a book I put together about the life of Christ. There are pictures, stories straight from the scriptures, and songs. It covers the whole life of Christ, not just his birth, and ends with his second coming. The kids (ages 6, 8, 11, 13) LOVE this tradition, and beg every night for "stories of Jesus". We've done it for several years now. I'm so thrilled that my children want to hear about the life of Christ, who's birth we honor at this time of year. It helps us focus on the "reason for the season", and uses up time we would otherwise spend watching television (you know how t.v. makes us want more and more things because of the commercials this time of year, we avoid it). Anyways, thank you for letting me share our tradition with you, and for the giveaway, and for having such a lovely blog!
ReplyDeleteLove your new pattern, very cheerful.
ReplyDeleteWhat I love most during the holidays is when after your done dragging out the tree, and putting all the decorations, is plugging it in and seeing the amazement in your child's eye. Of course as they get older you have to look close because it doesn't last as long, but it is always there.
I love your pattern. That would really brighten up any room.
ReplyDeleteWe always look forward to enjoying the delight of Christmas through the eyes of our little "believers" in the family.
new follower! I love getting together at the cabin with my family for a few days over Christmas! lots of fun family time!

I'm wrapping Christmas presents this evening and listening to Amy Grant's Christmas CD. It's also snowing just a bit here in the Atlanta area, so it feels a lot like Christmas! Love it!!! Thanks for a chance to win! I follow your blog on Google Reader
ReplyDeleteI have two favorite things for the Christmas Holiday! First, my birthday is on Christmas Eve so I always feel like everyone is counting down to my birthday. Second, I love our annual family reunion. It is always nice to see it grow every year!
ReplyDeleteMy annual Christmas tradition is to watch Love Actually. *sigh* love that movie.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about Christmas is having all the family arrive home, one by one, for the holiday season. Thanks so much for the chance to win the giveaway. I am a follower
