I've been waiting for this day for weeks now!
It's my stop on the Gingham Farmhouse Fabric Tour and guys, I absolutely LOVE
this fabric line by Poppie Cotton!
It's full of florals, orange peels, houses (not shown here), gingham and gingham BUNNIES!!! I mean, can you even!?! All things I love in soft, beautiful colors! But I especially love the navy!
Gingham Farmhouse also includes the sweetest alphabet panel that you ever did see.
It's available in 3 different colorways!
I couldn't resist making a little something from the panel and a "HOME" pillow seemed to be the perfect thing. Click HERE for the tutorial!
I also made a quilt!
The pattern is called Sugar from my book, Vintage Vibe.
(Click HERE to get an autographed copy.
It's on sale right now for $14.99 for 14 project patterns!)
Sugar calls for 8 fat quarters for the blocks but I used 18 and made it really scrappy!
It finishes at 64" x 80".
I had my quilter, Cathy Barney in Alpine, Utah do an orange peel edge-to-edge design on it.
It's one I hadn't used before and I love the way it turned out!
Look at that texture!
I finished this quilt off with a scrappy binding.
I think it adds a fun touch and is a great way to use up fabric from the line.
Do you ever do scrappy bindings? They're my fave!
I want to share the love of Poppie Cotton with you
so today I am giving away 2 darling Gingham Farmhouse
panels with coordinating house print fat quarters!
You can make a pillow (like mine!) using THIS tutorial
or you can incorporate these letters and numbers into a quilt.
There are so many possibilities!
Two lucky winners will be chosen.
Just leave a comment below telling me what you love about your home.
I will announce the winners next Wednesday, November 20th here on the blog.
Thank you for stopping by today!
Be sure to visit the other blogs for more Gingham Farmhouse inspiration!
Very sweet cushion...love your quilts, quilting is stunning.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful quilt, Amber - love how it showcases the many pretty prints in the fabric line - and the pretty pillow - so cute! I love our big windows in our home that face to the back and the lovely landscaping from our surrounding neighbors, including ours :)!
ReplyDeleteMy home isn't the tidiest or magazine perfect by any stretch of the imagination. Visitors call it "lived in". I'm OK with that!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric and great giveaway--thanks!
What an adorable line of fabric! Your pillow and quilt designs are perfect in this fabric.
ReplyDeleteI love my home... It is country...It is lived in and comfortable and beautiful all wrapped in love. When purchasing it years ago, the Realtor titled it as a Country Manor, I think I will stick with it :)
ReplyDeleteI love my fireplace and yard. Thanks Darlene dhoctor@sbcglobal.net
ReplyDeleteI can so see these beauties made up into a quilt for our guest room bedroom that's painted a light brown with a pinkish glow when the sun shines in, and has pale brown plaid curtains. I love our tiny old country farmhouse that has wide plank knotty pine wall and trim in a couple rooms, stained a rich golden brown, checked drapes on the window, similarly colored wood wainscoting in the kitchen, dining room and master bath. So warm and welcoming.
ReplyDeleteI love that it's all one one floor now that I am "a woman of a certain age" lol thanks for the chance Love that rosy Basic..Hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteYour projects are so pretty and the fabric is wonderful. You asked what I love about my home. It's the home that my Aunt and Uncle built in 1954 and we have remodeled it. It feels like home after moving around for several years.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is gorgeous! I have that quilting design on my list, but I've yet to use it on a quilt. I love my kitchen! It's by far my favourite part of my house. Thanks for this chance.
ReplyDeleteHi Amber! I absolutely love your quilt and pillow. Gingham is a personal favorite of mine.
ReplyDeleteI love my home because it makes me feel safe and comforted. When I am home, I am relaxed.
I love the warmth and coziness of my home!
ReplyDeleteHey Amber.... Truly the thing i love most about my home are all the creative touches that I have made. My kids are always “claiming” them for when I meet my maker!!! Don’t let the fact that today is my Anniversary! 38 years of making a house a home!
ReplyDeleteright this minute that it's warm! been cold in the South for a few days
ReplyDeleteI need that quilt in my home! I do love that I have my own space to create in.
ReplyDeleteHi Amber
ReplyDeleteLove what you created with Poppie Cotton!
What I love about my home is how warm and cozy it is and how family always gathers in the kitchen. Always a safe space to fall after a long day.
This fabric line has caught my attention lately. I Really like it.
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity and comfort of our home.(and who I share it with, of course!)
I love that my house is on a hill, it keeps me fit and it’s a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by! We live beside a Common and can watch people pass by walking their dogs on a winters day while being cosy and warm indoors!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love gingham but I don’t have these colours in my collection of ginghams. I love your quilt and cushion, a lovely collection of fabrics!
Thank you for the chance to win.

I love my house because it is located right on the lake. We have the best view all year long.
ReplyDeleteI love the memories our home holds! Right now we are under a big, long, renovation and there’s not much to love otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI love, love your quilt! It looks as though it should be used and wrapped up in, rather than a quilt simply to be oohed and aahed over. I love seeing the fancy quilts and admire all the work and dedication that goes into them, but I want quilts that can be used and washed many times. The colors in this collection are so fresh but not too much gingham. The farm look is great, but I wouldn't want all gingham. One can have too much of one thing, after all. Thank you for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI love that my home is in a rural location. There was lots of outdoor space for my children to play when they were young. Now it is great area for walks with my dog. Love ❤️ the pillow and quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love that my house was built by my husband - every board, every nail, every shingle, every painted wall - by his own hands. We moved in with my parents and our baby to save money. My husband would get up at the crack of dawn, drive over to work on the house, leave the house, work 8+ hours at his full time job, then back to work on the house. He never came home before 10 p.m. He did this daily routine nonstop for a whole year! Now, in our old age (ha!), we bought a cottage on a little lake in northern Wisconsin (his dream), and he is rebuilding it by his own hands. He is one in a million! I plan to decorate our cottage full of quilts and already have made two identical Summer Stars quilts for our granddaughters' bedroom. Adding a Gingham Farmhouse quilt to our cottage decor would be so fun to make! It would be icing on the cake for our "Pineberry Cottage." Thank you Amber!
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about my home is that it is in the country--we have turkeys, deer, cardinals, hawks, owls and other birds in the trees around our home as well as coyotes, rabbits and other wild-life--and ever changing scenery!

I love the floor plAn of my house and my sewing room!
ReplyDeleteApricotstitches- I love my living room because of my ginormous, comfy sectional perfect for many pillows and quilts! I LOVE Gingham Farmhouse! I got a jelly roll of it and after swooning over it I want to carry it in my store. Now this is Vintage!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! I LOVE my huge craft/sewing room.
ReplyDeleteThat HOME pillow!! So darling! The whole fabric line is beautiful. I love that my home is cozy, but what amazes me a little is that everywhere I look, I see something I made (including my second quilt ever--one of YOURS! <3). It truly is a handmade home. :) Thanks for the giveaway! ~ecb elizabethcbunce at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI love this fabric! Gingham has always been my favorite. Thank you for the tutorial. I already have 2 projects in mind that I could make from one panel. My 8 week old granddaughter is named Ruby so I could make both the HOME pillow and a pillow with my granddaughter's name on it since there are no repeating letters. Fun!
ReplyDeleteMy home is a disorganized chaos at the moment. I have an open kitchen living room area that currently has a quilt project on the go, Christmas decorations pulled out and trying to bake for a Christmas bazaar as a donation. Other than that my home is full of heart and love.
ReplyDeleteLove..Love this new fabric line. So pretty and fresh. I can't wait to get some yardage.
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about our home is when our grandchildren come over they also say we love it here..we want to stay forever... Thank you,
Have a great day,
Mary
I love our home in the mornings. Warm, soft light, eclectic, OURS! Love your quilt and pillow!! š
ReplyDeleteI love that our home is a welcoming place. I also love that we live in the country, at the end of a long, private driveway behind a locked gate so we don't get a lot of visitors--I know that sounds terrible, but I lupus and migraines and am an introvert, so I love my peace and quiet!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful quilt and pillow. I love that my home is surrounded by windows and my sunroom is 2 walls windows. So much light plus I'm on the 2nd floor so I leave my window coverings open all of the time except in the bedroom. š
ReplyDeleteLove your pillow and quilt! I love my home because it is a safe haven from the worries of the world and I get to create beautiful things here!

ReplyDeleteWe've been building a cabin and I've noticed that when I'm picking cabinets, paint, light fixtures, etc, my go to choices are what I have in my house. I guess I like the comfort that I feel here. Love your quilt, it is gorgeous. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love that it's paid for! LOL I also love that it was built more than 100 years ago, and the workmanship is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThese pillows and fabric are so fun! I love all the land around our home and my front porch swing ♥️
ReplyDeleteLove that fabric line and pillow / quilt. It’s cozy - which is what I like about our home - very cozy! ❤️
ReplyDeleteLove your pillow and quilt Amber! I love my sewing room because it is a "Sun Room" and I have the best natural light in the entire house!
ReplyDeleteI love my house because it’s comfortable and comforting.
ReplyDeleteI love my 3-season porch—my family’s favorite place to gather.
ReplyDeleteOur 3-season porch—my family’s favorite place to gather!
ReplyDeleteTHe best thing I love about my home is that my QuiltCave is centrally located next to my kitchen, across from a half bath, a door away from my laundry room, I can see the front of my house that looks out onto my driveway and I have a door that goes outside to my back porch that plows me to let my little FRENCHIE out of...a hundred times a day š¤Ŗš¤Ŗ
