Thank you for choosing to purchase and make a Gigi's Thimble Quilt Pattern. Each pattern is carefully written to be clear, concise, and accurate. Since 2014 I have hired professional editors to check each of my patterns and most times each pattern is tested by several quilters before publication. However, once in a while a mistake happens. If this is why you're here ~ I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please check below for corrections on your pattern.
If you happen to find an error please contact me at adctd2qultng@gmail.com so I can correct it immediately.
Thank you!

Cross Stitch Pattern Updates
Finished Quilt Size = 61 3/4" x 81"
Finished Block Size = 17 3/4" x 17 3/4"
From the aqua solid, cut:
17 sashing rectangles, 2" x 18 1/4"
Note: Wait to cut these until after you measure your blocks. They should be the same unfinished size.
Making the blocks, page 3, last paragraph:
Sew an aqua square onto the end of a white/aqua segment so the white square is in the middle. Press the seams allowances toward the aqua squares. Then center and sew one aqua square onto the aqua/white/aqua unit. Press the seam allowance toward the aqua square. Make 4 units.
Sew a unit onto each side of the block center and press.
Fall Flowers Pattern Update
On the first batch of printing, the cover image shows two different yellow/gold fabrics for the block centers. However, there is really only one fabric required. It has now been corrected to show only one fabric (as required) for all the block centers.

Plain & Simple Pattern Update:
On the first batch of printing - Page 5, step 2 - use navy print triangles cut from the 6¾” squares (NOT the 12¾" squares). No need to make the 4 corner units at this point. Just sew the quilt together in rows and then sew the corner triangles on last.

United Pattern Update:
From the navy fabric, cut:
40 strips, 2-1/2” x WOF; set aside 15 strips for the horizontal sashing
From the remaining 25 (NOT 30) strips, subcut:
I Really like Dawn's Delight, I am having trouble finding the pattern
ReplyDeleteHi there! There isn't anything to print or a pattern per se, but I did mention my cut sizes in this blogpost: http://www.gigisthimble.com/2024/08/dawns-delight-quilt.html. You can use scraps or your stash to make as many blocks that you want. Let me know if you have any more questions! Thanks for stopping by!
